pokerutd league update

Hi Player

Congratulations to last weeks tournament winner lcfcgaz1. His win gave him 4 goals and resulted in Lincoln City beating Chester 4-0. He wins a Match Day Token for this fine performance.

teaulcsg was right up there again with 2nd spot. His hat-trick gave Brighton a 3-0 win over Luton and puts him on a net-busting 27 goals so far this season.

ukdobbin slots 2 home for his 3rd place finish. Giving Mansfield a 2-0 win over Macclesfield and taking ukdobbin to joint 1st in the League Two Top Goal Scorer race with BABYSHAM

Watch out for double fixtures/double goals in the Championship this week.

Sweep:

teaulcsg picked himself to finish highest in last weeks sweep and his 2nd place finish was good enough to secure him the Match Day Token prize.

This week the sweep is to predict the number of runners in the Match Day Tournament. Please reply to this email with your guess.Closest wins the Token.

Bounty:

ukdobbin once again wins the Match Day Token for knocking out the Bounty. This week the bounty is on lcfcgaz1.

Star Player:

We wish the best of luck to Top Goal Scorer teaulcsg who will be representing POKER UTD in an APAT satellite on the 10th November at the Grosvenor,Brighton.

His impressive results have lead to us sponsoring him in future live events, where hopefully he can replicate the tremendous form he has shown in the league tournaments.

Hopefully he can get some results and we can build up our relationship to include bigger tournaments and more sponsored players.

Good luck at the tables!

pokerutd updated

Hi Player

Congratulations to PLhen who won $100 in last weeks Match Day Tournament. That's a very impressive 2 wins in 3 weeks. PLhen's Arsenal team mates DanPL and Moonboy133 win a Match Day Token as well for turning up...

In second place was last season's POKER UTD Champion spannerlj. Showing some of the form that took him all the way to the top.

SuperSubMorty's 'any 2 cards will do' policy seems to be working, as he secured third place.

slievesnacht and FONZARELLI also managed to finish in the money. Heeeeeeeeeeeeey :)

Last week was quiet for fixtures, so not many goals were scored. Thankfully this week there are goal scoring opportunities aplenty. Click HERE to see this weeks fixtures.

Match of the Day:

Sparks are going to fly this week as Brighton clash with Leeds. Currently 1st and 2nd in the POKER UTD League 1.

Brighton's formidable line up of teaulcsg (23 goals) and oddsoxzmazz (3 goals) will be facing the potential trio of talent that is Leeds. Comprising of AvonGirlLUFC (7 goals), runadrum9 (3 goals) and B3ZZY (1 goal). Whoever finishes the highest will guarantee top spot for their team.

Sweep:

Congratulations to danbury who came pretty close in predicting the score in last weeks sweep. His guess of a 14-12 England victory over France in the Rugby World Cup wins him a Match Day Token. This week it's the same deal. Guess the score for the World Cup Rugby Final as England face the mighty South Africa. Closest gets a Match Day Token. Correct score wins $100 bonus.

I know rugby is a bit 'off topic' and this will be the last rugby sweep, but lets face it, at the moment there is a lot more to cheer about than in the football. If only it was the FIFA World Cup final. One day...

Bounty:

Last weeks bounty on teaulcsg was claimed by Fadds. So a pat on the back to him ;)

This week a Match Day Token will be awarded to anyone who knocks PLhen out in this Sunday's POKER UTD League Match Day Tournament at 8.30 pm.

Who are ya?

One last thing. When you have logged into the poker software there is a button you can click next to the 'EXIT' button called 'MY ACCOUNT".

If you click on the 'MY ACCOUNT" button you will enter the Cashier section. On the left you will see a menu. Click the last option marked 'Settings'.

A box will then come up called 'Displayed location' This is the space for you to type in the football team you are representing.

Tick the third box down marked either 'Football Team' or 'Other location' (depending on when you downloaded the software). Either way, type in the football team you are representing in the leagues, then click save changes.

Now whenever another player clicks on your name when you are sitting at the table, the team you are representing will be shown. More importantly though, is that you can find out what team every other player is representing by clicking on them.

poker utd

Hi Player

He's only gone and done it again! His win last week was his second in a row and puts him even further ahead in the Top Goal Scorers table. Very well played teaulcsg.
His win netted him a record $94, a Match Day Token for him and his team mates (him) and a precious 4-0 Brighton win over Yeovil. Not bad for quiet Sunday night in!
They'll be a special prize for teaulcsg if he can do the triple and win this week. As an extra twist there will be a Match Day Token bounty on his head. Knock him out and win the Token...
But look who has shot up to second place in the Top Goal Scorers table. Non other than the reigning POKER UTD Champion spannerlj. His 3rd place finish last week netted him 4 goals in total as Plymouth had a double fixture. 2-0 win over Stoke and 2-0 against QPR. To view the Top Goal Scorers table click HERE
To see your teams fixtures for this week click HERE

New signings:
Welcome to new player 2leggs representing Spurs. His goal last week gave them a 1-0 over Bolton and lifted them off the bottom to the middle of the Premiership.
Also new player SuperSubMorty representing Liverpool, has been creating quite a stir in the midweek Match Day qualifiers. His 'any two cards will do' attitude has baffled quite a few of the other players, but has taken him close to winning.

Hot ones:
This Sunday's hot fixtures are West Ham V Arsenal who are currently 6th and 2nd in the Premiership. And Gillingham V Leeds who are currently 3rd and 2nd in League One.

Sweep
Congratulations to last weeks winner FL1NTOFF who correctly picked the 3-0 score line in the England Women's World Cup Q/F against USA Women. He wins a Match Day Token.
This Sunday sees the final between Brazil and Germany. So a Match Day Token is up for grabs to whoever can guess the correct score. Answers on a postcard please (or you can just reply to this email)
Also remember that the Match Day Shoot out is on again this Saturday at 12 noon. It offers you a last chance to bag a Match Day Token for Sunday's tournament, if you didn't win one in the mid week freerolls. Or, for the winners it offers a chance to add another token to your collection. The Tokens are valid for every Match Day tournament this season, so grab them while you can.

Good luck at the tables!

wsop update

latest from chris at pokersatellites

Alan,

I have confirmed that $2,000 has been deposited into your Pokersatellites account. The prize package is $6500 in WSOP buy-ins as well as $2,000 travel money. The company that set up the tournament put the wrong amount on the tournament lobby. You can visit Pokersatellites.com to see the correct amount of the promotion. I am sorry about the confusion regarding the prize package amount. Unfortunately this was out of our control.

You will be staying at the Rio Hotel and Casino, site of the WSOP. Your room is included in the prize package providing you wear Pokersatellites gear while participating in the tournaments. I will be there personally to buy you into the three tournaments and secure your lodging.

If you should make it to the second day of any of the three tournaments, you will have the option of receiving the cash equivalent for the following day’s tournament or you can be entered into another tournament with the same buy-in amount.

When you arrive at the Rio on the 14th of June, go to the Hotel lobby and call me on my mobile phone so that I can get you the room key and make arrangements to meet you the following day to buy you into the Friday tournament. Please print this e-mail and take it with you to Vegas.

Thanks, Chris. Pokersatellites
