playing Apat online league of which i am the Brighton poker club Captain.finished 18th when my AA against 77 with A/7/rag on flop followed by rag on turn then he hits his one outer for Quads,still he did then go on to win the tourney.

how long??????????????/
cant believe it has been 6 months since i last posted in my blog,note to self,must do better.
well what has happened so far this year,not a lot apart from winning a package to the WSOP this year,many thanks to Punters Lounge and Stan James Poker.
the prize was a $1500 buy in and $750 cash. how did i win it? by having the best score of 7 games out of 12 in a league system run by by PL.
A big thanks to Morlspin who organised this with StanJamesPoker.
i fly out in 6 days time and i will endeavour to keep this blog updated,not that anyone reads it,.
had a few NLHE wins this year but not big amounts. Kept my top goalscorer title on PokerUtd which is a feat in itself.
also won my 1st Razz and Omaha tourneys this year as well.

loving live poker at the mo
last weekend went up to Dusk Till Dawn poker club in Nottingham for the Punters Lounge WSOP ....Omaha and Hold`em. both to be play on the Saturday.
decided to go up on the Friday to play in the £85 Freezeout as a warmer and finished 7th of 61 runners for £184. well done to Graeme (Morlspin) who won it for about £1600.
finished 18th in the Omaha which wasnt bad as it was my 1st live game in this format and 44th in the Hold`em when i couldn`t outplay my aggressive nemesis Fenners.
totally enjoyable weekend and look forward to going up again

what a weekend
won £400 last night finishing 3rd in the Big Slick Deepstack tourney £50 buy in,
tonight i won the PokerUtd league for $135,i won the RaiseTheRiver league for $35 and cashed in the 200k gtd on pokertstars while be staked by geordiegaz who paid the buy in......

Annette_15 $20k GTD tourney
i finished 6th in the InsidePoker magazine freeroll "win tuition from Annette_15 " and got a $212 seat in the $20k GTD tonight..fingers crossed i can keep my good form going..
also gonna be playing the PokerTrillion affiliates freeroll as a keep busy back up.
got to the 3rd break.....
had been card dead for ages,every time i go to raise to try steal someone beat me to it . i get 10/10 and felt it was time to make a move if i was going to get anywhere near the money..so pot raise and BB pushes pack,if i fold i am in trouble so pushed back,,he has A/A the times this happens i should know by now,i have gone out so many times when the BB has had A/A...still did enjoy the tournament and didnt feel nowhere near out my depth...shame that 2 more players hadnt regged as 18 would have been paid and i might have changed the way i played that last hand..
oh by the way i went out 34th of 99

PokerUtd win
it was the 1st game of the new season and another challenge to keep my top scorer title.
off to a cracking start as with 30 players and an $11 buy in the payout was top 3 and $250 for the winner,which just so happened to be me ;-)
so next sunday i have a bounty on me which will be interesting.
also finished 3rd in the RaisetheRiver league game 2,was chip leader at one time but my A/Q was done by A/A

played the €150 private tourney with gambling.co.uk forum on poker.co.uk and won it.
hopefully this is the start of a +ev time after a couple of months of -ev.
also finished 14th in the affiliates freeroll on poker trillion,didnt make one mistake throughout and the only thing that blighted me was being bluffed off a big hand but not hitting the flop so folded my A/Qo and he showed 3/4 clubs with 2 clubs on the flop

been a long since i wrote here
hadn`t realised just how long it has been since i wrote anything here,mind you not to much to mention anyway poker-wise.
got my 1st Royal Flush the other day and revenge in a way on the fish i did it to.he had earlier called my preflop raise of pocket 6`s,the flop came down and i hit my 6 for trips but 2 diamonds also on the board,i bet heavy and he goes all in with 10/3 Diamonds WTF???? anyway he hit and i am down a fair bit,on this particular hand though he minimum raised which i called,anyway what with hitting 2 spades on the flop i decide to gamble and pushed all-in and he turns over A/A DOH!!!!!!
anyway i have the last laugh
it is the PokerUtd Champions final tonight so time for some serious play as i really want to win this.
will also be playing on Pokerstars,the Boris Becker Wimbledon special

cards have been awful just lately,,so nice to have a decent game once in a while.
played the punters lounge exclusive on pokertrillion and finished 5th for €57,once again i am on the steal and come up against A/A,,amazing how many times just lately i have done that,,nice to see my mate spence (spannerjago) win tonight,,very well played............
also good to meet online the snowman (a legend in the poker blogs).
gonna have tuesday night off and play wednesday now...need some chill time.

Virgin Poker Festival
i am very happy tonight,after running bad with cards just lately a bit of good news at last,,,VirginPoker are having another festival in April in Newcastle and i have just qualified to play through The Daily Punt forum exclusive.
hit the final table with a very short stack and got lucky when i had to push with A/2 against J/J and hit the ace i needed,it kept me in the game and then i took out my mate Ed with A/K to his pocket pair and then from there went on to win,,my winning hand was style as well with a Full House.
it is going to be good to see some old and new friends while i am there

my 1st sponsored cash out
went to the Grosvenor last night to play the £10 + £5 bounty,re-buy and found they had changed it to a £5 re-buy
i was thinking it was gonna be more of donk-fest than normal but was pleasantly surprised that it turned out otherwise.
we started off with 800 chips and blinds 25/50.
there were 50 runners.
i must admit i had won one hand up to about 10 minutes before the add-on and cogscoine from raisetheriver forum came and sat at my table,and then my luck changed.
starting after the break with 8k in chips and a prize fund of just over £1100 after about 150 re-buys and i cant remember how many add-ons (not all me i will have you know ).
the poker was good and banter very friendly on our table and was enjoying the evening emmensely.
eventually we got broken up and the field went down very quickly.
on the bubble i got my biggest slice of luck,now i hadnt hit any top pair all evening and didnt in this hand:
cant remember the blinds but something like 300/600.
we are down to 5 players on each table,
i am utg and limp in with 5/5 ,all fold round to the BB
flop is A/5/4 with 2 Diamonds and 1 Heart,
i check, he raises and i push all-in (i have him covered) thinking he has hit the Ace with either a 10 or J...he calls,
how wrong i was, he had 2/3 for the flopped straight
i was gutted to say the least...
anyway the turn brings out the last 5 woohoo
to see the change in facial expressions between us 2 must have been a sight..poor guy walks away with £10 from the prize fund as agreed by all the players and i think he went straight to the bar.
after that we all went to the F/table and my chip stack went up and down like a yo-yo,and eventually went out with A/J when the other called with K/9 and hit a 9 on the turn.
