last nights game

well having to go to my sons football xmas party ten pin bowling trip i asked uncle-ed to play betfair poker player freeroll,ed done brill and had built up a nice stack for me for when i got back to take over the final leggings,,,lasted 15 mins with 3 bad beats but made he money just..all of $1. many thanks ed anyway and sorry for the ending...........

in the late game it was sue and steve`s (punters)wedding freeroll,as i had to get up early for work i played the 1st 45 minutes and sat out in 1st place,,i asked morlspin to play for me when he got knocked which he did and finished 3rd for $45,,,nice one graham

how time flies

cant believe how difficult it is to keep up with a blog,,what with poker every night and then sleep and work,still i must try to be more disciplined,,,,,,,starting tomorrow

big slick

last night met up with morlspin,ubermonkey and football tipper and we went up to big slick in purley,croydon for a game of £10 + £5 bounty re-buy as a birthday game for morlspin before they went off to vegas...
it was my 1st re-buy tourney and was an absolute nightmare,2nd hand i hit pocket queens and all-in,1 caller with a/10 and he hit 2 tens on the flop,so a re-buy within 5 minutes and that was how it went all night..
in the end i was 1st out followed by morlspin,f/tipper and uber made it to the final table and finished 4th for £163

not really had much to talk about really apart from the usual bad luck,but that is all behind me,
finished 3rd in sporting odds champion league tonight and 10th in mansion pl league (bubbled).
will be playing in newcastle live in the apat game in dec.
and live at the pokerplayer mag uk open on the 29th of this month,,,next thursday going to croydon to the big slick with morlspin and co for his birthday before he goes to vegas (lucky shit)

just got confirmation that i made the cut for playing live in london in a tourney laid on by poker player magazine on the 29th november...got a couple more live games coming up as well..i am playing in brighton tomorrow night,playing for a place at the irish open next year and playing in croydon at the big slick on the 16th also being morlspin birthday,should be a good crack....
gonna play the hendon mob horse game tonight.hopefully my luck might change for the better

another busy sunday again,
i qualified for the dublin ept weekly final yesterday and the game is on later today,also the regular mansion pokergod tourney,still in top 50 just.
there is the virgin v points game which my son will probably play.

hendon mob tonight

well tonight i am only going to play hendon mob league tonight as in having no points in the sporting odds champ/league there is little point playing.
played like a right muppet last night in the titan poker pl omaha h/l and only lasted about 25 minutes,1st hand got bullied into folding by slapdash and lost over half my chips as i wasnt prepared to go out 1st but in all fairness i should have gone for it..next time

comes round quick

bloody hell its sunday again already,well after a night out last night with wife and friends its back to the poker again tonight,there is the champs league on sporting odds which has been very disappointing this month with no points at all,and the mansion pokergod of which i am still in the top 50 so far, so a good result tonight would consolidate my position and ultimate aim to get in the top 30

as usual a busy nights poker,, have the forum challenge and hope to do better for punters lounge tonight especially as more money s involved,,, also have the mansion pokergod tourney where i am on the leaderboard at the moment,,there is the aston villa tickets tourney on as well so a money win again would be nice,,as back-up there is the virgin v-points freeroll and the one i am going to miss out on is the champs league on sporting odds as spods is playing up on my laptop

this weekend is the inter-forum challenge with tonights game a freeroll and tomorrow a $5.50 buy in,ddn`t do too bad n saturdays game was runnng along qute ncely and then n 2 hands `m out,1st lost half my chps to trp 4`s from nowhere and then my pocket kings got beat by pocket aces..
was also playing for the aston villa tickets on 32red with top 60 getting paid,finished 8th for $25

well, here we go again in sporting odds champion league,see if i can make it hat-trick of hitting the prize money at the end of the month,best finish is 7th,so hope to improve upon that considerably.

the other game tonight is a new one on full tilt,with the hendon mob forum league,again i expect to do quite well in this.

another busy sunday night,,my main game will be the mansion $215 final where the top 2 get a $7000 package to las vegas which i qualified for ealier this week by playing a $22 qualifier and finishing 2nd.
will also be playing the mansion poker god series where i finished 8th last week.
there is also the sporting odds champs league where i have finished in the money last 2 months running but will try harder this month to win the league...
my back up game is the virgin v-points freeroll,usually my 10 year old son plays the beginning of this before he goes to bed and being the excellent poker player he is he usually leaves me a good few chips to play with..

sporting odds have cancelled toights champ league which is a shame....

finished 15th in mansion pokerdome,played ultra tight and seemed to work okay but when i needed to loosen up a bit i didn`t get a decent hand to play with,it was like playing a live game so good experience

saturday 29th september

tonight playing in the pokerstars apat tourney....
got very bored with the game and went out after about 1 and half hours,,shouldnt have done but folding every hand is not enjoyable....

went on to play a 10 man stt on sporting odds with uncle ed and won it,,a nice $50 in my bank balance

today started off for birmingham to play in the APAT english open at the broadway casino,met des duffy at the door and was impressed when he knew my personal name from my punters lounge shirt,,,i must say i had a great day even if i did finish about 88th, it was my 1st serious live tourney and was very impressed with the organisation..it was great to meet up with other fellow pl`ers.

no poker today as chilling out before the journey to birmingham tomorrow for the apat tournament,amateur english title to play for and £4500 ...only 120 players invited for this and i got lucky,looking forward to meeting some fellow pl`ers who are playing and supporting

played sporting odds champ league tonight and finished 9th for a good 42 points,moved me into 7th place overall.
was really surprised whenever i raised everyone folded,,still extra chips for me lol....
